Each year, the Association is called together for an annual meeting to discuss the upkeep of the cemetery and to raise funds to supplement the money provided by the township for upkeep. Usually, this takes the shape of an auction, where treasured heirlooms, delicious baked goods, and fine works of skilled craftspeople are showcased. Items for the benefit event are donated and proceeds go to the care of the cemetery. Sometimes it may seem a little silly to sell a pie for $100, but we know that it all goes to a good cause – plus the rivalry can be a lot of fun! This time of fellowship is a cherished tradition for us, and we welcome anyone who wants to join in the fun!
